The Best Little Secret in Cappuccino Drinking

You may be used to drinking a large cappuccino topping at 20 oz. everyday on the way to work, but I have to tell you a secret that may burst your bubble on your XXL cappuccino habit, According to the World Barista Championship Regulations, that is not really a cappuccino at all. Gasp! But it's true: if you look all over continental coffee cafes, you will see that an authentic cappuccino rolls in at around 5-6 oz. because a quality microfoam cannot be served at larger quantities. Meaning- if you are drinking upwards of 16-20 oz. of "cappuccino", then it really just is hot milk on top of espresso. Ordering a short cappuccino at any local coffee house will give you around 8 oz. of accurate cappuccino service. Not only will you be saving calories and cash, but you will truly begin to notice the rich flavors and robust tastes that make coffee what it is all about. You're welcome.
