The Daily Grind: Coffee and Espresso Brewing Options

Let's take a moment to reflect on the best tasting cup of coffee that you have ever had. I bet it was hot, rich, and had deep notes of caramel and mahogany that resonated on your tongue. I'm sure it was a cup to remember. But another thing that you must remember is that when you are looking to create the best brew in your coffee making, you must focus on the four keys: the roast, the coffee maker, the skill of the brewer, and... the coffee grinder! So my point is, that the coffee grinder should NOT be neglected in your brewing because you will achieve the optimum flavor by simply grinding your coffee and espresso beans instead of buying them pre-ground. Another shocking fact to add to that is that when beans are whole, their freshness will last for up to two weeks, but when they are pre-ground, they can begin to grow stale within a few hours! There is no way that what you are purchasing in the store is living up to its standards. I hope these facts helped, and let me close by saying that freshly ground coffee and espresso is known as the fresh cut grass of the flavor world. It can't be beat.
