Where Did the Term "Cup of Joe" Come From?

Good question! It is so easy to take for granted this handy little term, but it's pretty interesting to think about where it actually originated. When you think back to World War II, you may recall the fact that the US military men were called G.I. Joes, and they also happened to be big coffee drinkers. Soon, the two terms became synonymous so coffee was only known as a cup of Joe. And it has stuck with us over the years to be just as popular today!

Another fun coffee fact to put in perspective is the fact that if you are a Starbucks addict that patiently sits in the drive through every day before work, then your estimated time spent there yearly is 45 hours! It really makes you think...
