Harvard Workers Poisoned by Coffee?
You may have discovered by now that coffee is an incredibly healthy beverage with a number of wellness benefits. However, researchers at Harvard University are no longer sharing these views after being poisoned by their Java.Researchers were admitted to the hospital in the Boston area this past August after they drank poisonous coffee from a public coffee machine in the Harvard New Research Building. This brew was said to have the chemical sodium azide, which is incredibly harmful. These researchers reported fainting, dizziness, and ringing in their ears, and they also were said to have low blood pressure.
The jury is still out on whether or not this was an accident, but for safe coffee consumption, make sure that you brew your Java yourself within the comfort of your home for a delicious treat!
