What is the Difference Between Coffee Grounds and Espresso Grounds?

If you think that you can brew a shot of espresso with coffee beans that you have lying around, then you may want to think again!

Espresso grounds and coffee grounds are actually quite different. Espresso beans are a darker roast with a smokier flavor, and they need to be finely ground for brewing an ideal shot within 25 seconds. When it comes to brewing coffee, there are a few different methods available, like a French Press, Turkish Coffee pot, or traditional coffee maker. All of these methods dictate a different grind consistency, like coarse for a French Press, extremely fine for Turkish Coffee, or medium ground for a coffee maker.

Take the time to explore all of the flavors and tastes available in premium coffee and espresso brewing!
