Your Checklist For Choosing Premium Coffee Beans

First of all, it is important that you are choosing whole, fresh coffee beans before you brew. It is best to purchase coffee beans from a website where they are shipped fresh to you (like my website!), otherwise, you risk them being stale. That being said, here is what you need to know:

• Do not choose coffee beans that look broken or splintered before you purchase them.
• Purchase coffee beans that are fresh or have a roast date on the bag.
• Smell the coffee beans before purchasing, if you can, to make sure that they are flavorful and fresh.
• Start out by enjoying lightly roasted coffee to determine which coffee characteristics and regions you like the best.
• Choose flavored coffees that are made with fresh and natural flavorings.
• Store all coffee beans in an opaque, airtight container in a dry and cool place!
