Chocolate Covered Coffee Beans Recipe

Making coffee itself is a wonderful treat, but no one can resist the delicious flavors of chocolate covered coffee beans!

Here is an easy recipe that you can make at home:

• 1/2 cup Chocolate chips
• 1/3 cup Roasted coffee beans, preferably flavored

Melt the chocolate over the stove in a double boiler until it is smooth, and then slowly drop in the coffee beans. Stir the mixture well. Remove the coffee beans from the chocolate with a spoon one by one, and separate them on waxed paper. Make sure that they are all separated, and also make sure that they are completely covered in chocolate. Allow them to harden overnight, or you can also place them in the freezer for them to harden quickly within a half-hour.

This is a wonderful treat to give to the coffee lover in your life, or even keep for yourself!

Fun Coffee Gift Ideas!

If you have any type of special occasion coming up that demands a gift, why not make it even better by giving the gift of coffee? No, I am not simply talking about a generic bag of coffee beans (which I still think that anyone would love to have), but there are many other unique coffee gift ideas available to you!

  • An eco-friendly choice is a Java log, which is a fireplace log made of used coffee grounds.
  • Coffee flavored shampoo or beauty products will do wonders for any woman in your life. The essential oils of the coffee beans will make her hair shiny when using the shampoo, and the caffeine in the coffee will tighten her skin and make it firmer when using the coffee beauty products.
  • Consider constructing a necklace from roasted coffee beans and other beads or stones to give a funky and fun effect to everyday jewelry.
  • Give the gift of a real coffee plant! Your recipient won't be able to harvest an actual coffee crop, but they will have an attractive coffee house plant that they can grow to love.
  • Chocolate covered coffee beans are always a wonderful treat because they offer a dessert benefit with a caffeine kick to get you through the day.

These are just a few unique coffee gift ideas, but I would love to hear any ideas from you in great Java gifts!?

Have You Considered Coffee Wedding Favors?

This is a fun new trend that I am all about, which is integrating coffee into your wedding favors as a couple. Of course, if you have ever been a bride or groom-to-be planning a wedding, then I am sure that you are familiar with the fact that planning out your wedding favors can be pretty stressful. Not to worry because there are plenty of coffee themed ideas that will be a sure crowd pleaser and also celebrate your love as a couple!

For starters, think of getting a gourmet blend of coffee to give out to all of your guests with the name of the bride and groom on it. Many wedding favor websites offer these services with such fun slogans as "The Perfect Blend" or "Love is Brewing". Aww... Yes, it may seem cheesy, but that is exactly why a coffee favor is perfect for a wedding favor idea!

So what else can you think of to be creative and integrate Java into your wedding day? Chocolate covered coffee beans? Coffee candles? A decorative coffee scoop engraved with the name of the bride and groom? The options are truly endless, but it all starts with a cup of Joe.
