Coffee Can Slow Down Liver Damage

This is something important for you to know as a coffee drinker, especially if you are suffering from the virus hepatitis C. Hepatitis C is a condition of the liver that often does not have any symptoms and is not detected until it is diagnosed. It develops from blood contact, and it can be treated with medication. Additionally, it also can have reduced development by being a regular coffee drinker.

Within a recent study, participants drank three or more cups of coffee per day, and they did show a slow in fibrotic damage to their livers resulting from hepatitis C. The study proved that regular coffee drinking can protect the liver to prevent liver cancer and cirrhosis from developing. The study also did not specify whether or not the coffee drinkers drank decaf or regular, so caffeine has nothing to do with the results seen in Java protecting the liver.

Whether or not you are suffering from hepatitis C, consider coffee to be a viable option to you to keep you in even greater health. I'll drink to that!

Coffee To Heal Your Liver?

Oh, yes! This is a fantastic breakthrough because daily coffee drinkers have been found less likely to have cirrhosis of the liver due to excess alcohol intake, as well as a reduced risk of liver cancer. If you want to get a jump start on your health benefits, then all you have to do is invest in a daily cup of Joe because numerous studies have shown, including a study by Kaiser Permanente, that cirrhosis of the liver is dramatically reduced by regular coffee drinkers. Coffee is also known to lower harmful enzymes in the liver that lead to damage and cirrhosis, so you can sip away and feel safer than ever.

And what else can coffee do for you? Well, think about the fact that coffee is full of antioxidants which protect yourselves from free radical damage, meaning that your body is healthier, stronger, and younger for a longer period of time. I am thinking that green tea needs to watch out because coffee is in the forefront as the healthiest beverage that you can get your hands on!

Coffee is Better Than Red Wine!

Seriously, it is just about time that coffee starts taking the spotlight that it so deserves. Red wine has been hailed for years by health experts as the drink to boost your health, but coffee was actually just given a bad reputation by some inconclusive results in several studies where the coffee drinkers were also smokers, contributing to poor health. Terrible. The truth of the matter is that if you are even a moderate coffee drinker at 2 cups per day, you are 25% less likely to have colon cancer, 50% less likely to have gallstones, and 80% less likely to have cirrhosis of the liver. Wow, wow, and wow. Why has no one been celebrating coffee in this manner before? Also, because of the caffeine content in coffee, which is roughly 3 times more than soda or tea, coffee is known to prevent the development of Parkinson's disease. What are you waiting for? Brew yourself a cup of Joe right now!

Drink to Your Health with Coffee!

One study that you may or may not have heard of is that coffee can now protect against cirrhosis of the liver and liver damage. If you are an alcohol drinker, it is great to know your daily cups of coffee are actually doing more than you think to protect you from liver damage. This does not excuse late night drinking binges, but if you couple coffee with a moderate lifestyle, then you are 40% less likely to have cirrhosis of the liver. The interesting thing about these facts is that this is not true for all caffeinated beverages, though the jury is still out as to the exact reason why coffee alone is providing this kind of protection. I am not one to question, but I will pour myself a large mug of Java and enjoy!
