"When we recently purchased a Bunn brewer, we also purchased a box of the appropriate Bunn coffee filters (12 cup)as well as a package of less expensive generic filters (also 12 cup). We immediately found that the less expensive filters were poorly fitted to the Bunn funnel allowing an excess of grounds to flow through into the airpots. "I drive 40 miles one way to buy Caribou Obsidian coffee. I have it ground Turkish which is as fine as a comerical grinder can go. Because the grounds are so fine they tend to clog the filter and overflow the paper insert. I will try the Bunn filters and see if that solves the problem of the grounds in my coffee.
