This is a fun Texas inspired coffee recipe that puts a big twist on your normal coffee drink. It is best served in a large specialty glass or margarita glass to make room for the delicious ice cream.
Ingredients:
2 oz. Coffee, chilled
4 egg yolks
4 tbsp. Sugar
4 oz. Milk
4 scoops ice cream, vanilla
First of all, brew the coffee fresh, and allow it to chill. Next, mix together the four egg yolks with the milk and sugar, and blend well with a hand held blender. Add the chilled coffee, and mix well. Place a scoop of vanilla ice cream into separate specialty glasses, and pour the mixture over the top. This drink is best enjoyed with chocolate shavings as a garnish, or even whipped cream!
