Café de Olla Recipe

For this recipe you will want to use a Viennese Roast that you combine with Mexican spices to give you a completely unique flavor that you will love to drink. Very authentic!

Ingredients:
  • 4 cups water
  • 1/2 cup dark brown sugar
  • 4 cinnamon sticks
  • 2/3 cup freshly ground coffee beans, Viennese dark roast

Begin by heating your water with the cinnamon and sugar in a saucepan, and continually stir it. Bring the water to a boil until the sugar is dissolved, and keep boiling for 15 minutes until the water has a reduction of one cup. Mix in your freshly ground coffee, and continue to stir until your blend comes to a boil again. Strain out the spices from your blend, and served in hot mugs for a delicious and rich treat!
