This may seem a little too obvious, but you can never go wrong with learning how to correctly make a cappuccino with the skills of an expert barista. Once you have the understanding, it is so much easier than it looks!
Ingredients:
Cinnamon
Chocolate shavings
Nutmeg
Freshly ground espresso beans
3 oz. cold milk
Your home espresso machine
Start by brewing one shot of espresso. You can then steam your milk to 160°, and place the wand directly below the surface to create stiff foam. Slowly pour steamed milk into your cappuccino mug filled with espresso 1/3 of the way. You can then spoon foam on the remaining 1/3 of your drink, so that the ratio is 1/3 espresso, 1/3 steamed milk, and 1/3 foam. Finish by optionally garnishing with cinnamon, chocolate shavings, or nutmeg. It's that easy!
