Coffee Infused Vodka Recipe

If you have always wanted to try making something exotic, like a delicious coffee infused vodka that you can enjoy in any after dinner drink, then this is the perfect recipe for you to begin with because it will yield amazing results! Let us begin.

Ingredients:
  • Vodka: a middle grade brand like Absolut will be perfect
  • Coffee beans of a dark roast variety
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • 2 glass jars
  • Funnel
  • 2 spoons
  • 1 cone shaped filter

Press together your two spoons with about 10 coffee beans between them to compress the beans until they crack. When you have cracked about 50 beans, put them in the bottom of your jar with the sugar. Fill your jar up all the way with vodka, trying to leave very little air, and then place your lid on the jar. Shake your jar well, and then store it in a cool place like your refrigerator. You will leave your mixture in your refrigerator for seven days, and to get the maximum infusion, you will want to take out your jar and shake it well every day.

After seven days, place your funnel over your other jar, and put the filter inside of it. You can then filter your vodka through so that all of the beans and particles are strained out. If your final vodka product does not have enough coffee infusion for you, then you can simply crack more beans, place them in your vodka, and store the mixture for a few more days. From there, all you have to do is enjoy your concoction in wonderful after dinner drinks, or even in your hot chocolate! It is a good idea to save the beans used in your vodka as an optional garnish for your cocktails. Creative!
