Coffee Sabayon Recipe

This is a very interesting take on a sweet coffee drink, and the use of rum will make it popular with all of your family and friends!

Ingredients:
  • 6 oz. Hot coffee
  • 4 Egg yolks
  • 1/2 cup Sugar
  • 1/4 cup Rum
Allow the fresh coffee to cool, and then mix it together with the egg yolks and sugar. Place this mixture in the top of a double boiler pan on medium heat, and beat it with a hand-held mixer until it is fluffy. Continue to beat the mixture, and slowly add the rum as you continue to mix. Continue beating until the volume of the mixture triples, which may take up to 10 minutes. Spoon into individual specialty glasses, and chill for a half-hour to enjoy as a delicious desert drink!
