I need a quiet electric kettle for a French press

Apparently, my kettle wakes up people in my house every morning, so I need a quiet electric kettle. I have been using Hamilton Beach, and it is much too loud. Any French press lovers have any feedback or advice?

I have been very happy with the quiet sound of the Bonavita electric kettle since it does not whistle. I also was looking for something quiet that would not wake up my wife. Basically, it makes a sound similar to a pot of boiling water, which is nice.

I also use the Bonavita, which makes no sound at all. But my problem is grinding fresh, coarse grounds for my Bodum press that ends up waking everybody well before 8 AM. Not totally sure what to do about that because I don’t want to use stale grounds for the press. You’d think they would understand…

Ha - I’ve had to resort to grinding coffee on the porch so that it doesn’t wake up people in the house. Can you believe it? I guess the electric kettle would be the straw that broke the camels back. I haven’t tried the Bonavita myself, I normally boil water in the microwave.

I would swear by the Capresso H2O - I used a Cuisinart while staying with my mother for two weeks, and it is amazing how loud it is. What were the manufacturers thinking?
