Real Irish Coffee Recipe

Top o' the morning to ya! I bet your day could use a premium and authentic Irish Coffee right about now, and this recipe won't leave you disappointed.

Ingredients:
  • 1 oz. Irish Whiskey (like Jameson)
  • 1 tsp. brown sugar
  • black coffee
  • whipping cream
  • chocolate shavings (optional)
  1. First, pour your whiskey and brown sugar into a coffee glass and stir well.
  2. Add your black coffee (still piping hot), and fill the glass up to a half an inch from the top. Continue stirring.
  3. Slowly pour the whipping cream onto the coffee mixture and over the back of a spoon so that floating layers of cream are formed on top of your drink. You no longer need to stir.
  4. Then top with chocolate shavings, and there you have your pot o' gold and pick-me-up for the day all in one. Cheers!
